The beginning and end of the Mississippi River
I followed the Mississippi River from the source at Lake Itasca Minnesota, to the Gulf of Mexico at Louisiana. Diving from end to end, crossing every bridge along the way, and staying as close to the river as possible while in public space, I delivered one gallon of water from the begining to the end.

One of the main roads running through Sarajevo is nicknamed "Sniper Alley" during the Bosnian war because the Serbian/Chetnik snipers had that street covered, and anybody seen walking on that street would be shot at.
I transposed the location of Sniper Alley onto a map of Washington DC, and we filmed walks down the Sniper Alley in Sarajevo and a walk down the transposed Washington "Sniper Alley" and edited them together.

68 Square Miles, 68 Walks, 68 Lines
There are 68 square miles of land in Washington DC. I gridded the city map into square miles based on the historic survey and mile markers, and I walked to every square mile. When I arrived at each mile, I spent at least an hour drifting around, before I walked home.
Each one of these lines is a path I took to walk every square mile in the city
For decades the image of Lenin stood as a symbol of Communism, and the political reach of the Soviet Union. Since the Fall of the Soviet Union Lenin Statues all over the world have been destroyed. Of the remaining Lenin Statues, these are the northern and southern most Lenins.

Radioactive Lenin
There were 1320 Lenin Statues in Ukraine at the fall of the Soviet Union. This is the last one standing and is located inside the village of Chernobyl, and within the Chernobyl Disaster Exclusion Zone. It will be dangerously radioactive for thousands of years.
This was one of the 1320 Lenin Statues standing in Ukraine at the fall of the Soviet Union that was ordered to be torn down by the government. Located within the courtyard of a factory in an industrial part of Odessa, this Lenin escaped its fate and was turned into a convincing Darth Vader statue by artist Alex Milov.
In 1997 I took $500 in singles and printed text on them. I then put them back in circulation.
Since then I have done this three more times, totaling $1200.

Intersecting the The Mason Dixon Line
Mason-Dixon line was surveyed between 1763 and 1767 by Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon. At the time of the survey, it was the longest straight line ever recorded, and thus the longest drawing in the world. I drove to the beginning of the line on the Southwestern Maryland and Delaware border and crossed the line on every public road from beginning to end. There were 270 roads that crossed, and I filmed each crossing.
